Imagery, Photograph and Diversity

L.A.G. Senna is a Brazilian linguist, full professor at UERJ, the State University of Rio de Janeiro, and a research fellow at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the Faperj Foundation. Currently investigations address the structural properties of semiotic in-use systems and the occurrences of representational hybridism and metaphorical systems frameworks. Photography plays a central role in his research, both as a complex, multi-categorial text genre and as a unique source of knowledge about cognitive diversity. Despite his academic and scientific vocation, his professional activity also involves visual production based on photography, combining art with the quotidiens that makes us Humans.
